This special service includes a variety of things including Prenatal, Lactation and Post Birth visits provided by an RN and former lactation consultant with experience in caring for mothers and new babies. These visits allow you to have expert help as you transition into life with a new baby.

These visits are educational in nature and may include:

• Planning for birth, breastfeeding and post birth
• Assessment of early breastfeeding successes and problems with referral to our IBCLC if needed
• Help with breastfeeding and newborn care basics
• Getting organized
• Settling in as a new family
• Promoting bonding and confidence
• Referrals to local resources

You may choose to do this consultation by phone, on line or in the comfort of your home. Home visits occur in the privacy of your home and typically last 2-4 hours depending on your needs.​
