Fantastic Fridays Zero to Six Month Support Group at The Woman’s Place every Friday from noon-2PM.

Are you a new mom? Need “mom” friends? Not sure if the “advice” you get on Facebook and Instagram is real or not? Want to feel confident in your new role of “mom” but have so many questions? Join experts Diane Smith and Magy Cruz for learning, sharing and support. Diane is a RN with over 20 years of experience in helping families through birth and breastfeeding as a Lamaze Educator and IBCLC. Magy, from HappyDoula4U, is an experienced post partum doula and breastfeeding coach. We are passionate about helping you feel comfortable in your new role as a mom!

Here are just a few of the things we will do and learn in this group:
1. Baby feeding- breastfeeding and formula feeding
2. Baby wearing- slings and wraps
3. Baby swaddling- using blankets to swaddle and check out a variety of popular swaddles
4. Learn about newborn and baby sleep and tips for getting more of it!
5. Learn how to use our Medela BabyWeigh Scale to check your little one’s weigh gain
6. Meet other moms and make friends who are new to motherhood, too
7. Share ideas with other new moms
8. Ask the experts anything about babies and new motherhood
9. Enjoy the beautiful Marina Village Park and Riverwalk in Riverlights with other moms and babies
10. Grab lunch at one of the restaurants surrounding the park

So, bring your baby and enjoy a couple of hours of “mom time” just for you at Fantastic Fridays Zero to Six Month Support Group at The Woman’s Place! This group will meet every Friday from noon-2PM beginning January 7, 2022, except holidays.
